When waste-laden air is extracted from the production process and cleaned, heat is also extracted. In many cold weather areas, the reuse of the warm cleaned air can provide large savings in fuel and power as opposed to just venting the cleaned air to the outdoors.

Moldow offers engineered solutions within heating & heat recovery for production facilities where warm air is extracted to facilitate production or air quality.

HEAT EXCHANGER – TYPE FVK

The FVK Heat exchange aggregate is used to warm fresh air with heat recovered from extracted production air in large rooms such as production facilities, workshops, warehouses and the such.

The aggregate can be delivered with additional heating via water, gas, oil or electricity and is suited for installation both in and out-doors.

Standard aggregates are available for air volumes from 8,000 to 60,000 m³/h

Each heat exchange aggregate consists of heat exchanger, heater, fans for air extraction and return, damper, filters and control system, all installed in sound and warm insulated modules of warm galvanized sheet metal.

Further, the aggregates are equipped with monitored inspection doors which provide safety while allowing easy service and maintenance access. The aggregate can also be delivered with a damper for night operation.

FRESH AIR AGGREGATE – TYPE FAV

The FAV fresh air aggregate is utilized to replace extracted production air with fresh heated air in large areas such as production facilities, workshops, warehouses and the such.

The standard aggregate is delivered with water based heater but can be supplied with steam or electrical based heating elements. The aggregate is suited for installation both in and out-doors.

Standard aggregates are available for air volumes from 10,000 to 60,000 m³/h.

Each aggregate consists of belt driven centrifugal fan, heating element, and filters, all installed in sound and warm insulated modules of warm galvanized sheet metal.

Further, the aggregates are equipped with monitored inspection doors which provide safety while allowing easy service and maintenance access. The aggregate can also be delivered with motorized damper, control system, house for air intake and regulation of heating element.
