Moldow has designed, supplied and commissioned a new dust extraction and filtration system at a leading cardboard packaging producer in Poland.

This marks the second successful collaboration between Moldow and the customer, following an earlier extraction system upgrade that replaced an outdated and inefficient system.

Satisfied with the performance, reliability, and energy efficiency of the first system, the customer once again chose Moldow to deliver a modern dust extraction solution for their new production hall — ensuring clean air, efficient operation, and long-term sustainability.

Tailored Filtration System for Modern Cardboard Production

The newly installed dust extraction system has a capacity of 5,000 m³/h and is engineered to meet the highest standards for safety, performance, and efficiency.

• Moldow SB EX T baghouse filter – ensuring effective dust collection and explosion protection.
• Moldow RS-7,5 EXL rotary valve – providing safe and efficient discharge of collected material into big bags.
• BarkerBille by Moldow DST40 extraction fan – equipped with a variable frequency drive (VFD) and IE4 motor for optimized energy efficiency.
• Custom-engineered ductwork – connecting all dust extraction points to the filter and fan system.
• Steel support structure – facilitating ergonomic and secure big bag filling.
• Fully integrated control system – offering easy, intuitive operation.
• Return air system – equipped with summer/winter damper and fire damper for safe air recirculation.
