A typical powder coating line includes:
- Conveyor system – moves parts automatically through each stage for consistent results.
- Pre-treatment section – cleans and prepares the surface of the parts for coating.
- Drying oven – dries the parts after pretreatment and removes any residual moisture before the powder application.
- Cooling zone – cools down the parts after drying and before powder application.
- Powder booth(s) – where the powder is electrostatically applied to the parts.
- Curing oven – melts and bonds the powder to form a hard, even finish.
- Cooling zone – cools down the coated parts before handling or packaging.
In addition, it can include complete ventilation system, heat recovery, water treatment system and automized functions.
