WELDING DUST EXTRACTION SYSTEM – JTT CONVEYING – VIDEO

Moldow engineered and installed a complete extraction and ventilation system for JTT Conveying’s new welding hall, featuring eight welding stations each equipped with automatic dampers and articulated extraction arms.

The solution includes a self-cleaning cartridge filter rated at 10,000 m³/h, an outside-located filter unit with 99.9% efficiency, and a cross-flow heat exchanger reclaiming up to 73% of the exhausted process heat. In addition, the system includes balanced air exchange—exhaust and fresh air supply—to ensure optimal indoor climate. Energy-efficient automation with variable-speed fans and station dampers ensures the system only consumes what’s needed, while delivering a safe, clean and compliant working environment for welding operations.
