Moldow has shipped a second mineral wool drying oven for this project. In July, we installed the first oven, and this new unit will follow shortly, completing the modern drying system for the factory. Together, these two ovens replace an older unit that Moldow delivered back in 1995, bringing the production process up to the latest standards in efficiency, safety, and energy performance.

Each oven is 20 meters long and specifically designed for the drying of painted mineral wool insulation plates. Optimized airflow inside the ovens, facilitated by large, energy-efficient fans mounted on top, ensures even drying while minimizing energy consumption.

The modern design also emphasizes durability and ease of maintenance. The ovens are built to withstand continuous high-temperature operation and can be easily inspected and serviced, ensuring long-term reliable performance.

By integrating these two advanced mineral wool drying ovens into the production line, the factory now benefits from faster drying cycles, consistent product quality, and reduced energy costs, supporting both productivity and sustainability goals.
