MOLDOW HIT BY  HACKER ATTACK

Moldow has been the victim of a hacker attack, which was probably carried out by Eastern European hackers.

When we became aware of the attack, our contingency plan was activated, and our servers were immediately shut down to minimize the damage and spread to e.g. our PCs. After, we became aware that data had been copied from our servers. Only a small part of our data was copied, and we therefore do not know exactly which data. We also do not know for sure whether personal data has been copied, but there is a risk.

We managed to restore our system operation relatively quickly, and we have subsequently initiated some measures to further strengthen the security of our systems.

This may have been copied

As some of the stolen information may be personal data, there is a risk that personal data safety has been breached. We have therefore reported the hacker attack to the Danish Data Protection Authority.

The information that may have been copied is general personal information, such as name, email and telephone numbers etc., all of which are information used in our general cooperation with our customers.

We hope that the risk of the information being misused is minimal, but we would encourage you to read the Crime Prevention Council’s information with general recommendations for measures that you can take to protect yourself from identity theft (https://dkr.dk/).

We are deeply sorry if you as our customer or business partner may experience any the inconveniences in relation to this attack.
